Privacy Policy

Little Sprout is a phonics game for young children, made by Quailflow. We built it so that children can play safely, without anything about them leaving the device.

The short version

Little Sprout does not collect, store, share or sell any personal information. It has no accounts, no ads, no analytics or tracking, no in-app purchases, no links to other websites or apps, and it does not connect to the internet.

Information we collect

None. We do not collect names, email addresses, location, device identifiers, photos, voice recordings, usage data or any other information from children or adults.

Information stored on the device

The app saves a few settings on the device itself so they are remembered between sessions: volume levels and the hint level. These settings never leave the device, are not sent to us or anyone else, and are deleted when the app is deleted.

Third-party services

Little Sprout does not include any third-party advertising, analytics, social media or tracking services.

Children's privacy

Little Sprout is designed for young children. Because the app collects no personal information, no information about children is collected, used or disclosed. This policy is intended to meet the requirements of the US Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and Apple's App Store rules for apps in the Kids category.

Changes to this policy

If we ever change how the app handles information, we will update this page and the date above before the change takes effect. If a future version were to collect any information, we would ask for verifiable parental consent first, as the law requires.
